Hello: I am new to computer graphics & very thankful for Gimp b/c it has allowed me to learn a lot w/out needing to spend money I currently do not have. I have a lot of respect and gratitude for the developers & for those that take time to answer questions in this forum.
I live in Maine out in the country where it's nice & quiet but still love big cities.
I went to school for psychology/biology to be a doctor but life had other plans. So, here I am learning computer graphics & stuff in order to start a business where I provide websites, mobile websites, FB Pages & so forth.
My mother was diagnosed with Early onset Alzheimer's. So, I am working diligently to be successful enough to care for her.
Again, many thanx to the Wonderful Gimp community & developers!! Without you I wouldn't be as far along with my new business & I'd be even more worried about my mom.
I write poetry, love music of all kinds, I love downhill skiing but can't do it any more due to back pain. I love whitewater rafting, fly fishing, camping, good food & most of all I enjoy helping others & hope someday to do so on a grand scale : )
