wrapping a logo around button shape?
Hi there,
I have a logo that I created using the script fu macros. What I want to do now is that create a button shape with rounded edge and put the logo ( a rectangular) and bend its edges to wrap around the button without distorting the text of the logo itself. how do I do that?

I understand this is some prime noob question, but I am just looking for a specific answer to a specific problem I'm having without having to go through tutorials which I have no plan of skipping.

thanks for your help.

RE: wrapping a logo around button shape?
Not the best of colours for making a button. Rounded corners, use the rectangular select tool.
A bevel, a couple of tools around,
a useful plugin is layerfx; http://registry.gimp.org/node/186
A bit of fiddling around gives this.
