RE: Wrap Map doesn't show
You installed Python but Gimp doesn't know about it. Under Filters/Script-fu shoud have a Python-fu menu item. And you are likely missing Filters/Render/Clouds/Fog (which is one of the few Python scripts in the standard distrib).

IIRC a desinstall/resinstall of Gimp will make Gimp see Python.

Unfortunately I don't use Windows but a system for simple-minded people where everything just works Smile

On my system, I have a file /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/interpreters/pygimp.interp that contains:
Code:
python=/usr/bin/python
/usr/bin/python=/usr/bin/python
:Python:E::py::python:

It seems that i windows this file is in "C:\Program Files\gimp-2.6\lib\gimp\2.0\interpreters" (or wherever you Gimp install is) and that it's just a matter of making the 2nd line pointing to your python interpreter:

Code:
/usr/bin/python=C:\Program Files\[i]replace\with\real\path[/i]\pythonw.exe

If you google for pygimp.interp you'll find more discussion on the subject.

RE: Wrap Map doesn't show
Looks like windows 7 there.

Probably your best bet is to start from scratch, uninstall everything, python, pygtk and gimp. Delete or rename your personal .gimp folder. Gimp has to be installed after python.

Don't be tempted to install python 2.7 stick with 2.6
the files you need are
python-2.6.6.msi
pygtk-all-in-one-2.24.0.win32-py2.6.msi
the gimp installer.

Install python. Reboot
install pygtk-all-in-one
install gimp, make sure the python box is ticked in the custom install option, it should be by default but you never know.

This might be helpful even though it shows a python 2.5 installation. I did prove to myself later the the above work.
