Which cp?

Which cp?
I'm ready to buy a new laptop to do all my photo editing and making movies for my family, any ideas, there are way to many choices, myabe if some of you could tell me what to make sure my laptop has on it, thanks

The things I would look into:
  • A display not using TN technology (unfortunately the most commmon by far on laptops), which is the worst when it comes to color fidelity. The best technology is IPS, followed by MVA. Lenovo used to have some IPS-based laptops. When you go shopping, carry with you a USB key with some test images (Google for "screen contrast test" in "Images") and check them in the installed navigator.
  • Display pixels, but not at the expense of quality. And since I take many photos in portait mode, I like many vertical pixels (I'm very disappointed by the generalization of the 16/9 screens, 4/3 were more suitable).
  • An accelerated graphics card may help in the future (but no right now with Gimp).
  • Integrated SD card reader (that reads SDXC)
