Where to get Perl-fu?
I'd really like to use the Gifsicle plugin (http://www.69b.org/cms/software/gimp#gifsicle), but I first need Perl-fu. The link on the page to it is dead, and after an hour of Googling, I still have no clue where to download Perl-fu from.

Does anyone have a working link?

Thanks!

RE: Where to get Perl-fu?
Alas unlikely to work. I remember gimp perl scripts from a few years ago and they were flakey then.

It is possible to find the gimp plugin. https://git.gnome.org/browse/gimp-perl/

and possibly in your distro repository (you are using linux aren't you? ) http://i.imgur.com/4bmPru8.jpg

Goes in plugins, shows up in animation http://i.imgur.com/Njdg0cC.jpg

too many errors in Gimp 2.8 http://i.imgur.com/Bn244N0.jpg

what it does
Quote:This plugin (with the help of the external "gifsicle"-program) produces GIF-animations with a local colormap for each frame (if thats required). Another little benefit of gifsicle is the ability to specify a loop count (instead of just "once"/"forever").

I think you can do this with Imagemagick, I am not really into animations, best ask on the IM forum.
I see Ofnuts has already posted some links.
I use this plug-in to export layers to png http://registry.gimp.org/node/18440
there might be more recent ones but it works for me.
