Uninstalling plugins
To reduce the time GIMP takes to query plugins when it opens, I'd like to delete some of the plugins from the application package. I strongly suspect that I don't need all of them. But which ones to delete?

Is there a guide anywhere on the web to Gimp plugins, explaining what each one does, which ones are essential and which optional, and so on?

I've not been able to find such a guide, and I don't really want to have to work it all out by trial and error, as there are rather a lot of plugins.

By the way, I'm using GIMP 2.8.22 Mac.

RE: Uninstalling plugins
I'm sorry but as it says in the forum announcements, this forum has been DEAD for a long time.

The spammers keep trying to take over.

Save yourself from them and go to https://www.gimp-forum.net instead
