Undergrad student
Hi, I'm a student studying communications. I've had a couple design classes. Although I've been taught Photoshop, I use GIMP at home, including for class work. I primarily use GIMP on my desktop, which runs Linux Mint 15 Cinnamon.

I registered for this forum because I'm having trouble figuring things out, and I don't know if I'll ever stumble on the right answers just googling and going over documentation. I am sorry to burden the forum with my GIMP problems, though. I'll try to make my questions intelligent, at least.

Welcome welcome communication major! Smile This forum is a goldmine of information and have very helpful mods & users.

I too started out with PS but then I discovered gimp & its more fun to use(for me), a neat little-big program with much potential!

Hope to see your questions/tips in the future!
