Transparent Backgrounds
I would like to make an image (JPEG) with a transparent background on gimp. I've used the lasso tool, inverted and cleared the image as well as adding an alpha channel. I've also deleted the background (so it's dark and light grey squares) but when I export it into a JPEG image and import it into Sony Vegas, when I put it in my video the background is white.

I am trying to make it so the image (with a transparent/no background) shows up on top of the video but you can still see the video underneath it instead of a white background.

Thanks it's working now
