Touching up black images (solved)

Shocked Touching up black images (solved)
greetings. I have a bunch of images that were part of a document that I have been translating. The images relate to whats written in the document. Most are black with fading or white dots here or there. I plan to use the brush to touch them up, and make them nicer before I print the document, but I wonder if there's a quicker solution than individually coloring in all the images. Enclosed is an example of what im talking about

Thanks Kevin. I'll try that out now. looks good Smile

EDIT: Yep this was exactly what I needed. I also like how if I open another document, the tools at the top say "repeat despeckle" really streamlines my work.
