Tool Palettes
I had to uninstall and re install gimp.
Upon the re install none of my Dockables (Layers, Channels, etc.) are showing.
When I try using WINDOWS / DOCKABLE DIALOGS to make them reappear, they don't.

Could something have gone wrong upon the reinstall?
Is there a way to correct this?

Thank you in advance. Confused

A possible explanation for the dialogs not showing up is that their saved position is outside of your screen. Or you have "docked" them in a dialog which suffers from the problem.

Locate your Gimp profile (this is explained here). It contains a file called: "sessionrc". Just erase it (you can also browse its contents, out of curiosity, this may also help you guess what happened).

Thank you for the quick response. Your advice worked perfectly.Smile
