tiling an l shaped image
I have an L shaped tile that i would like to resize in gimp and then use in sketchup. I can't figure out how to eliminate the blank area of the image (in order to create an L) so tha I can tile it in sketchup ( the L's need to fit together without a blank area). Is there a way to do this in gimp? If an image has to be square is there a work around so that an L shaped tile pattern will fit together? There are two images that form the L and I have them on seperate layers currently..
