This is what makes people crazy...
In the section on Layer Modes of the Gimp User Manual, there's a little red and silver "thing" identified as a key fob.

How is that thing a key fob? Are the holes in the "arms" where you attach key rings? What's the little "head" part for? Why does it have that u-shaped relief in the red part that looks like a crotch or something? Does that serve a purpose or is it purely decorative, to make it look like a little eunuch with short, fat legs? Do the arms twist or come apart or something? What if you have more than two key rings?

What IS this thing? I've never seen one in real life, why couldn't they just use something a person might actually have seen and be familiar with? How can you possible concentrate on the text when there's this THING that doesn't make any sense and just provokes more questions than answers? Every time I go to this page, which is dozens of times now, I get distracted by this damn "fob" thing and forget whatever it was I came there for.

Oh, yeah, what I wanted to know: What's the quickest way to reset the Opacity slider under Mode to 100% ? When you have it at, say 50% and move the pointer over to the right, the slider never goes all the way to 100%, it goes to 98.something then you have to tap-tap-tap the mouse-pad to get it all the way over or try to get the pointer on that tiny little up-arrow thing and then tap that to get it too 100%.

I gotta throttle back on the midnight Red Bull!

Do not worry about it, just keep taking the medicine.

I do not have any problems with click and swipe. Just make sure that the top part of the slider is used (fast mode). If that is not working then maybe something to do with 'mousepad' I hate those things.

You could try entering a big value numerically. Hit enter and Gimp reverts it to 100. Faster? not really.

Lol, yep it gives you wings, makes you fly off of questions about random objects in image examples that are not icons or actual gimp tools XD To answer one of them though, the two parts that look like arms maybe re-tractable key strings. But I've never seen one shaped like that lol.

Try monster blue energy, it tastes better, but don't drink it too fast, that stuffs strong hahaha!

Oh, yeah. The top half of the arrow... duh!

I knew that. I just wanted to see if you guys did.

Thanks.

iFor: No more of that stuff for me, from now on it's full-on, straight-up tDCS, although I think I may have the power jacked-up a little too high. My skin is starting to rattle and hum.
