Text blurry
[Image: jZBSD.gif]

Just to say about me... All I use Gimp for is to edit animated gifs and smileys and some little static emoticons. Few I create from scratch. No photographs and I have no art talent.

● I have changed some text to Genius, All, Thankyou. Using font Sans 12px.
It is blurry compared to the original other text.

● Enlarged I see that the other original text has some black pixels around it.
--Is there a font that I can use that will automatically insert the text with the black pixels surrounding the white. Or do I have to do it manually.
--And is there a font that is just not so fuzzy blurry.
--Or do I need to change my Toolbox settings.
Please and thankyou for any help.

RE: Text blurry

Ohhh... I understand. So anti-aliased is the reason.
And white text is shifted up 1px. Easy. Good info that was much needed.
Thankyou ofnuts !
