Straightening building on angle
Hi:

Newbie to Gimp.

Have been impressed with Perspective tool in straightening up photos I have of buildings photographed from the front.

How can I straighten up the vertical lines of a building photographed on the angle?

Here's a photo I want to work on:

RE: Straightening building on angle
Just the perspective tool that you are already using.

The only suggestion is, use plenty of guides. Keep the top and bottom of the perspective grid in line with the top and bottom of the image.

With your example, keep it symmetrical as well.

I managed to make it look okay but had to use Photoshop Distort for a lot of it, and tweaking with Gimp Perspective.

Here's another link, to the finished image:

Great advice - "Keep the top and bottom of the perspective grid in line with the top and bottom of the image."
