Selecting and moving two or more images together?
Hi,

How could I select and move two or more images (different layers) together?

Is it possible to align one image considering the position of the other?

Thanks in advance

Cadu

"chain" the layers in the layers dialog (see http://docs.gimp.org/2.6/en/gimp-dialogs...yer-dialog):

This is one of the options of the Align tool (Align)

Hi. Many thanks! Gimp is really flexible!

In this opportunity, could you tell me how to create a text with foreground color? I.e. inside blue and outside (foreground) black?

Best,
Cadu

This:

[attachment=919]

- Create layer, fill with black
- Create text layer in blue (Text tool uses the foreground color by default but this can be changed)

This:

[attachment=920]

- Create text layer in blue, and while in the Text tool, hit the "Path from text" button (in the "Paths" dialog, you'll have a Path named after your text). You can also use other tools to align the text layer, and then reenter the Text tool on that layer and use "Path from text" at that point. Or "chain" the layer and the path so that they are moved together if you readjust their position/Orientation.
- Add transparent layer
- Set foreground color to required outline color
- Edit/Stroke path, choose outline width (or paint tool for fancy effects)
