script-fu documentation
I'm finding it a bit tough slogging through script-fu with what seems to me no documentation available. However, on another thread here (http://gimpforums.com/thread-somewhat-li...ad-routine) Lupo refers to a manual for script-fu which can be found in the source code at: gimp-2.6.2/plug-ins/script-fu/tinyscheme/Manual.txt

I have gimp 2.6 installed on Ubuntu and don't find this file anywhere. Can someone provide me a link to an online version of the file, or, alternatively, directions on how to get it?

Much appreciated...

RE: script-fu documentation
The file you cite exists in the source code at the indicated location. However it is 452 lines long and is really about TinyScheme.

Your best source of documentation is the "Browse" function in the script-fu console (that will also cover any plug-ins you have added to the regular Gimp).

RE: script-fu documentation
ok. thanks. And I finally figured out how to get the file in case anyone else is looking for it.

You just need to go to GIMPs FTP site and download the source code from there.
ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.6/

You are right though that the file isn't a lot of help. I continue to stumble across someone else using a function and then wondering how they even knew that function existed, e.g. I just came across re-match

RE: script-fu documentation
This page by the primary developer of Script-fu might be useful:
http://www.ve3syb.ca/wiki/doku.php?id=so...sf:writing

And over on GimpChat there is a thread with links to various script-writing resources:

A Scheme thing or part of the PDB?
