Saving work
This is such a basic function but I can't see to accomplish this to my satisfaction.
I normally use the Olympus software that comes with the camera to do the basic things. When I Save, voila, there is the adjusted file saved (or a question along the lines of "do you want to replace this file with this new one ?"). This works similarly with the likes of PS I'm sure.
With Gimp, tho the file has been saved as a Gimp-specific file (XCF a Tiff file, is it?) in documents. OK. Now, I attempt to move this file after "File>Export as>jpg". No luck. it is now a .png file, not .jpg and when I happen to look in my Oly program the file is still the unchanged file.
Please help, someone.
