Saving file as jpg
I have made changes to a photo, saved them and wanted to print them out using Block Posters. They won't work with gimp files. I would like to save the altered file as a jpg but I'm having trouble grasping the export section of the manual.

Any "GIMP for Dummies" help would be appreciated!! Thanks

Lori

RE: Saving file as jpg
Here is an all-in-one screenshot

1. Choose the export option File -> Export

2. In the Export Image dialog choose a 'save' folder and enter a file name including the .jpg extension Click the Export button

3. In the export image as jpeg dialog.
click on the advanced options(little down arrow) to expand the settings.
untick the 'progressive' option (this is probably what the poster co requires)
click the 'export button.

easy-peasy
