Running GIMP from cmd without new window appearing
Hey there.

When I try to run GIMP from command line using command:

Code:
"C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\bin\gimp-2.8.exe" -i -c -b "(simple-unsharp-mask \"penguin.jpg\" 5.0 7.5 0)" -b "(gimp-quit 0)"

It opens me another cmd window, that waits for me to press some char.

I don't wish it to open like this - instead, I would like to see it open in exactly the same cmd window where I typed the command, with output written there and with gimp closing as soon as it finishes doing it's stuff (that is - without waiting for me to press any button to continue).

Is there any way to do that?

Oh well, I found the solution myself - instead of running gimp-2.8.exe, I should have used gimp-console-2.8.exe. You can close the thread.
