Round corners w/ border on image.
Here's a link to the image in question; http://i41.tinypic.com/2lnj18p.jpg
I was just wondering how I could both round the corners and put a border.
For example; http://i51.tinypic.com/2q0t25g.jpg (I do not claim any part of the image in any way.)

Thanks in advance!

RE: Round corners w/ border on image.
- decide on a border width (say, 10 pixels)
- "Layer/Transparency/Add alpha channel" (if grayed, it's OK it's already done)
- crop you picture to final size, plus half a border width in all directions (5px)
- "Select/Select All"
- "Select/Shrink...", makes sure that "Shrink from image border is checked" and shrink by half the border width (5px)
- "Select/Rounded rectangle" and round corners to taste
- "Select/Invert"
- <Delete> to delete the corners
- "Select/Invert"
- "Select/Border" and enter half border width
- Bucket-fill selection to taste (color, gradient, pattern...)

Save image as PNG (corners should remain transparent).
