Resynthesizer
After attending my Camera Clubs first workshop (they all use PS Elements) I saw a feature called something like "Content Aware Healing Brush". Looking around Gimp has a Plug-In I believe to be similar called "Resynthesizer".

I downloaded the Windows installer for the Resynthesizer plug-in from http://registry.gimp.org/node/24520 and installed. Now I keep getting an error message when starting Gimp saying that it cannot find LIBINTL-8.DLL

Obviously either the installer is not complete, I am doing something wrong, or there is something missing from my system. This is my first attempt at installing any kind of Plug-ing and I's really like to know what I am doing wrong (if anything).

I've thought about attemping to manually install, do not know what is involved. I can usually limp along pretty well if given detailed enough instructions, but am not going to know what to do with (as I see in several other resynthesizer packages) a couple of files and a vauge wave to put them where they belong.

1) Is the installer referenced above good? (ie is it the correct/current version for me, and does it usually install correctly?)
2) Where can I find LIBINTL-8.DLL and where does it need to go on my system?
3) Assuming above cannot be made to work, where can I find detailed instructions on installing Resynthesizer into my system? (also which would be the prefered/current download as there appear to be several.)

My System: Windows Vista 32 bit, Gimp 2.6.11.

RE: Resynthesizer
1) the "Content aware healing tool" in Gimp is the "Heal" tool (the band-aid icon next to the clone tool). Resynthetizer is a quite different animal (still useful, though).

2) Best place to ask is the registry itself (that acts as a forum, since you can comment)... or use it to locate the author.

Resynthesizer is closest to what they are refering as the Content Aware Healing Brush. I'm using the workshops terminology. Not being an Elements user please forgive.

Really just looking for help and advice on how to best install the Resynthisizer in a Windows Vista 32bit and Gimp 2.6.11.I've begun the registration process there and ...well, I belive it has snafu'd a bit, so I came here.

I've tried several of the manual install packages and the Win installer listed above with a varity of errors.

Anybody using Resynthesizer?
