Replacing All of One Thing With Something Else
I'm working on censoring all pictures and names out of a Failbook entry, but the thread is LONG AS HELL. Is there any way I can replace one pattern of pixels (ex. "Bob Marley") with another (such as a red rectangle)?

RE: Replacing All of One Thing With Something Else
I suppose what you're talking about is possible using something similar to facial recognition software, but I'm not familiar with any feature in Gimp that would work like that. You might actually have better luck using OCR on the text and then editing it in a word processor.
