Remember last folder
Hi people,

This is my 2nd post (after I introduced myself here: http://gimpforums.com/thread-making-the-...software).

Well, I've only been using GIMP for a few weeks, after making the shift from Photoshop.

I generally only do some simple cutting/cropping and exporting (I'm a game developer).

One of the first thing I'd like to fix is the fact that GIMP doesn't remember my previously save as or export as location. Does anyone know if there is an option for this?

I did a quick search and found that it used to do this (http://portableapps.com/node/20378).

Also (probably a bigger job) it would be nice to tighten the export window. For example include the actual export settings in a single window, rather than have a 'save to' window, and then the 'export settings' window.

I'm a very capable developer and willing to look at these problems (if there is no other way except for contributing to code). I thought I'd post some messages here being digging though the code just yet, but if someone wanted to point me in the right direction that would help.

Cheers,
Daniel
