refocus on mac

refocus on mac
hello! I am new here, and I'm new in gimp.

I am using gimpshop on a mac (snow leopard) and i would need to refocus some photos.. does anyone know how i can do that? is there a special plugin i can use?

Similar to refocus, iterative-refocus, again source only, maybe you can compile it.
Alternatives, not Gimp, a java application, UnShake It says there is a MAC
flavour, I thought java worked anywhere.
edit: removed the '.' at the end of the url - should work now

All the above are old, 2003/4 when images tended to be smaller, UnShake in particular takes an age to work even on a modest sized image, so you need to be very-very patient. The results can be unspectacular as well.

If the out of focus is not too great, maybe a little sharpening might improve things,
Wavelet decompose is available as a script

some screenshots of the above in that order - refocusit, unshake, wavelet decompose.
