Reduce the size of GIMP window
GIMP is in single window mode. The bottom of the window extends down below my screen window, below my taskbar, so I can't grab it with my mouse to pull it up and make the window smaller vertically. I have pulled the top blue bar up as far as it will go, but not far enough

How do I shrink the GIMP window vertically?

RE: Reduce the size of GIMP window
I stumbled across the solution, and problem.

In single window mode, if you narrow your toolbox sidebar too much, you get locked from adjusting the GIMP window vertically.

I just posted this to Gimp Chat:

"Got it again...

Here's my rule: In single window mode, if you narrow the toolbox sidebar too much, you get the "vertical lock." If you widen the toolbox sidebar, you unlock the vertical adjustment to normal again.

Maybe this should go in some FAQ or bug archive?

Is there a way to send this up to the developers?"

There are also keyboard shortcut for this. See the window menu (right click on icon in top left corner)
