Read Me . txt
While installing fonts I have these "Read Me" files. I extracted them tho the folder the fonts go with because its easier to extract them that way. Does this matter? I wanted to delete them and then realized they are mixed in with other "Read Me" tiles that came with my newly installed Gimp.

Which ones are important. Why are they there? Any information of the purpose of these files existence is helpful.

RE: Read Me . txt
They aren't technically important when you use the font. They may contain information which is useful when you install the font (such as for what purposes you can use the font freely).

Extracting them to the fonts folder wont hurt them right?

Will erasing the ones that were installed with Gimp hurt The Gimp?
