Question about gimp's screen capture.
I sometimes use gimp's screen capture for flash-type images. Gimps screen capture saves images as .xcf (might be mis-spelled). I know that you can change the image format (for example, to .png), but I want to know if there is a way/plugin to make gimp's DEFAULT image format (for gimp screen captures) be .png?

RE: Question about gimp's screen capture.
When you become familiar with Gimp, you'll find that XCF contains a lot more information than PNG. Learn to save as XCF...
