Printing
Hi Guys;
I'm trying to print a 4" X 6" photograph from Gimp to my Canon Pixma MG6120 using the rear paper holder (that's probably not relevant).
I believe there is no setting in Gimp or on the Pixma that I have not set to 4" X 6"' (a couple of hundred times if I may be allowed a small bitch). However when the print preview comes up it shows 8.5 X 11. Maybe it's a printer issue or maybe it's something I'm doing in Gimp but I cannot figure it out.
Help! I'm stuck. I love Gimp although currently having some kind of problem with Python 2.6.6 (totally another issue). All I really want right now is some suggestions as to what I could be doing wrong.
I'll fix the Python problem (maybe).
Thanks a million,
Perry.

RE: Printing
Can you post a screenshot of the dialog you get by "Image/Image properties" (or Alt-Enter)?

RE: Printing
Should be attached as Windows Paint file. Can't figure out how to directly paste window into this reply. Advice?

RE: Printing
Everything looks correct. Could be a print driver issue (Canon drivers aren't that good)(I have a Canon printer too...). If you save the picture to file you can print it using another utility (from Windows image preview, for instance) and it should print at the right size.

RE: Printing
Don't print directly from GIMP......print from your photo print utility that came with your printer. That utility on my Pixma allows you to set both the media dimensions as well as the photo output dimensions.
