Pressure Sensitivity
As a new gimp and tablet user, I'd had some difficulty making my tablet feel like I wanted it to. After looking at numerous tutorials, I spent a day customizing a brush that would respond well to my tablet's innate pressure sensitivity. The brush worked perfectly that day! Since then, however, I've needed to customize my brushes everyday, and mess with my tablet until the brushes actually respond to pressure sensitivity.
I guess the big question is: how do I cause Gimp to recognize my tablet as being pressure sensitive each time I launch it?[/font]

RE: Pressure Sensitivity
I always connect my tablet before launching Gimp, it appears not to affect the bug. The device is seen by gimp, as it is customizabe in the device status dialog. My brush dynamics are set to recognize pressure sensitivity, and I've tried changing its sensitivity. All it does is recognize my tablet at the maximum pressure.
