png edge issue
Good day:
I had a large letter "B" on a white background. After I opened the image in gimp, I used the fuzzy select tool to remove the background. I then choose colors and invert which changed the color from black to white. I then saved it. The new png looks ok until you put it against a black background then you see a small jagged black edge around the png. I have tried everything I could think of but no luck.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I have attached the photo and you will see that all componets of the image are a png. The circle, the cross, the B and the I. Look at the edges. They look bad.
Thanks in advance
Shepard
