Plug In on my Mac not working - Am i doing it wrong?
Hello,

I have just changed over to an iMac and have downloaded and installed Gimp 2.6.12 all without drama.

I then downloaded FX Foundry and G'Mic.

Both download to the Mac . I then copy the down loaded file/folder? to the Plug-In 'Folder" but GIMP does not start them/recognise them/or something.

So what i am getting wrong?

Cheers

Nev

I just downloaded the .TAR and .ZIP (tried both for each plug in) that are listed for Mac from the respective registry.

I got the folders down loaded then moved them to the Plug-ins folder of Gimp (after doing the 'Show Package Contents' to show the file structure) but nothing happens so i am doing something wrong, i just don't know what?

I managed to find some instructions via another forum, it was not a simple task as the OSx Lion has hidden folders that have to be 'un hidden' and then worked with.

It was not a straight forward task like on a pc, but now done!!!

Thank you.
