How can I get pen pressure in Gimp 2.6?
I'm using a Genius Tablet, EasyPen i405X

RE: Pen Pressure
I too have the Genius Tablet i405 small world huh?

Pain in the butt set up:
  1. Be sure your tablet is plugged in before you run Gimp.
  2. Edit --> Preferences --> Input Devices
  3. Configure Extended Input Devices
  4. Buried it pretty deep... need a shovel? hee hee.
  5. Under Device select --> UC-LOGIC Tablet WP blah blah blah...
  6. Mode change from Disable to Screen or Window.

Once you get it set, save and try it. I thought my pad was broken but it turned out the pen had a near dead battery.
