outline floating selection in black

outline floating selection in black
I have some white text in a floating selection and I want to outline the text in black (black border around text)... how Do I do this???

I want my text to look like this:

Assuming your text is on transparent background

1) "Layer/New layer" (creates a new layer from the floating selection)
2) "Layer/Layer to image size" (or "Layer/Boundary size" and increase size to fit the added lines)
3) Layer/Transparency/Alpha to selection (you can also likely reuse the selection you used for cut/paste originally)
4) Edit/Stroke selection. This draw the line straddling the current selection marker, so you may want to to a "Select/grow" by some pixels first...
