Normalmap plugin.
Hi,
I am a new user of Gimp 2.8.
I have a question about the "normalmap" plugin.
Having downloaded the plugin and installed as per the read-me I can't get the 3D previewer to work, it causes Gimp to crash with Windows trying to find an answer to it.
Is there a new version of "normalmap" plugin which will fully run in Gimp 2.8 Please?

Kind regards
Mike

RE: Normalmap plugin.
Hi,
I have Gimp2.8 installed in Windows7 64bit home premium and I just can't get the normal map to run without crashing Gimp.Undecided
I found installing Gimp2.6.12 with the "normalmap" runs just fine so perhaps it would be better for me to dump 2,8 and re-install 2.6.12.
Kind regards
Mike

RE: Normalmap plugin.
Hi,

Thank you for your reply, I had read some where that some plugins may not work in newer versions of Gimp.
I have deleted Gimp2.8 and have installed Gimp2.6.12 with the Normalmap plugin and this is working.
Kind regards
Mike
