No effect by changing resolution (pixels/in)
Hi everyone,
I've just started playing around with GIMP. I've made two images containing a text to start with. For DPL2.tiff, the resolution (both X and Y) is 72 pixels/in, for DPL4.tiff it is 1 pixel/in.

My question is, shouldn't there be a noticeable difference in quality of the images?

Attached File(s)
.tiff  DPL2.tiff (Size: 70.66 KB / Downloads: 51)
.tiff  DPL4.tiff (Size: 70.66 KB / Downloads: 45)

RE: No effect by changing resolution (pixels/in)
No... The only difference that makes is that one is going to print 72 times bigger than the other one. The quality of the image (on your screen) is strictly a matter of size in pixels. But you have to change it explicitly ("Image/Scale image")
