Newly installed GIMP crashes on startup
Can't seem to enlarge font on this question entry form. Anyway, I downloaded GIMP" , (again) and it will not open. I get get a "Sorry-GIMP has encountered a problem" message. it would take a code writer to figure out what the problem is. Any suggestions?

RE: GIMP download problem

Changing your thread title because technically you had no problem downloading it...

I'm using WinXP, 32 bit. You are correct that I was able to download it, but I wonder if it downloaded intact, or corrupted. I got it through CNET Downloads, who I trust. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, with the same result. I might have to start searching for missing drivers. Scratching my head.
