Need help in running a gui script-fu via command line
So my grandmother was using our old sony digital camera and took around 400 photos in multi-burst mode. I found a script-fu online to help convert these:
http://mo-no-e.blogspot.co.il/2009/10/co...-into.html

My problem is, having many pictures I'd prefer running it from the command-line. After a few tries and then some reading here on the forums I realized that this script was not made for batch mode ('image' and 'drawable' params gave that up).

I tried converting it myself but not knowing the syntax and what the hell I'm doing, it obviously didn't work. I'm quite competent with Python but I'm still not sure what needs to be written in order to solve this one. (I'm using linux if it matters).

Can anyone offer any help?

Thanks!

I'm responding here rather than to your direct e-mail because it could help others.

Yes, you are right in thinking that the script as supplied isn't suitable for batch processing directly and will need a wrapper written.

Just to confirm that this is the right script for you - the input to it is a single image made up of a lot of individual images in a collage - is that what you have?

If the answer is yes, then all the wrapper needs to do is open the composite image and pass the image Id and layer id to the script. Then close the composite image at the end.

I'll have a look at this later.

RE: Need help in running a gui script-fu via command line
Well, I tried writing a wrapper and had some issues with that, tried fixing the .scm file to my needs, that also gave me some issue.

I ended up giving imagemagick a chance like ofnuts suggested and it ended up being way more easy - like he saidSmile

So this is the script if anyone would ever be interested:

Thank you guys for the help!
