Smile Need help for a lot of things! (Complete newbie)
So I am not very experienced in editing photos and using Gimp (started about 3 days ago, so I'm a complete newb). I am currently working on making a picture online into a different color and changes to little minor details. Can someone help me "blend" the color gaps and give me tips on how to continue? Also, any edits to the file would be awesome as well Angel Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the quick and terse reply! The article was great! Do you have any other tips for improvement like the color shade changing over a surface and such? Thanks again for the help Angel

If you want to correct Kirby's color, select the background "Select > Invert"
Then "colors > Hue-saturation" pick the green channel & drag it all the way to the left.

"Filters > Blur > Selective Blur" can help smooth out the gradient some, or you can try the blend tool(mentioned above) Type: radial, on a new layer with a differen't layer mode
