need help

need help
can anyone help me with gps(gimp paint studio)....i followed the simple instructions to install but its not working....the artistic brushes are not appearing...helpConfused

In the image window menu, go to "Edit>Preferences", go down to "Folders/Brushes", this should list at least two folders (one general and one related to your id). See what files they contain and if any look like they come form GPS.

hey i looked at the folders and i did see the brushes from gps but....when i go to see the brushes in restore options from its empty.....my next question is is there a way i can reset gimp to erase everything i have added and start all over? i've tried uninstalling gimp and reinsatling it but it gets installed with everything ive added...Exclamation

"Restore options" doens't deal with brushes in general but what brush is currently used.

To start over, erase your gimp profile ("C:\Document and Settings\{your_id}\.gimp-2.6" in XP, "C:\Users\{your_id}\.gimp-2.6" in Vista/7) and whatever remains in "C:\Program Files\Gimp*" after you have uninstalled.
