Need a tutorial.
Hello guys,

I really need a BIG tutorial how to make logos in gimp.
I want it to be Noob-proof because i really don't know how people make all of those logo's Oo.

if needed i would even buy adobe creative cloud

There is just as much a learning curve with Photoshop, possibly more than Gimp. You want to become an overnight expert, not going to happen.

Taking the simplest image you posted. How you might start off making a shield shape and colouring it in.

Once you have mastered that, then come back with one problem/subject, at a time

i did follow you tutoria but when i do the second gradient it fills everything the background to so
here is the xfc file: http://www.filedropper.com/logosh
i did follow everything so please help me?

Not so easy is it Wink

To set up the paths the way you want, you need an extra step for the central segment. Several ways to do this. Also your stripes layer is in the wrong place, needs to be under the mask.
If you need to see what you are doing use the visibility toggle in the layers dialog.
