Matching GIMP commands to Photoshop commands
In the Human-Computer Interaction group at UC Berkeley, we are building tools to translate instructions from Photoshop to GIMP. We are developing some neat interactions, but they rely on a correspondence table from Photoshop to GIMP commands.

We'd like to ask the GIMP community for help with building this table (we hope it'll be a valuable resource in its own right!). We are trying to build a table similar to the Photoshop_to_GIMP wiki, but one that is easily read and interpreted by software tools.

We've created a simple web interface that pulls up a Photoshop command and asks you to identify the closest GIMP command (if it exists). The interface is online at:

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if you just contribute a single mapping. The translation table is online here (it will fill up as matches are submitted):

We'll of course publish the table and the software that uses the table once it is done.

Thanks for your time and consideration,
Bjoern (UC Berkeley HCI)
