Making gimp better.
As you all may be aware Gimp, as great a program as it may be, has tons of problems both small and big. So here we go:

What would you add to or change in Gimp that would make better? What is gimp missing? What are the changes, features or fixes that have the most priority? What do you think would take for a photoshop user (for example), to wan't to get acquainted with and use Gimp?

I want all your ideas people, UI changes, tools, etc... I want you to be honest please.
Also, as you guys are (probably) gimp users, I would appreciate if you pointed me to other discussion forums about general visual arts that would be interested in discussing the subject.

RE: Making gimp better.

#1 Animation Playback: Would like to be able to zoom in and see it play in enlarged size for checking detail.

#2 Need to remove some of the default unused repetitive fonts.

#3 Need to be able to move the Text editor out of the way easier without all the clicking back and forth. Drag it away and it stays there until dragged back.

#4 Would like to be able to change the order of menuitems... so I can have the most used menuitems placed at the top or bottom.
Make them dragable.

#5 Would like to have the plugin and script menuitems colored different from other menuitems. Maybe lightgrey background.

#6 A Scratchpad that saves text automatically and text will still be there after Gimp Restart.
