RE: Lost in time
Cool, looks like those pictures you'd see in the hidden objects, nice details.

You'll want to add a light blue or purple haze to the background hills with trees (gradient) to give it a sense of distance.

- Add a new transparent layer & select just the tree hills below the snowy mountains, including the bit behind the right of the tree. It can go into the water A LITTLE.
-On the transparent layer, make a black to white gradient that goes from light color down to transparent(black) ^toward the water, blurring the bottom and/or top of the gradient to blend with the background will enhance the hazy effect.

The foreground rock water fall on the right side, where the edge of the cliff is, is hard to see, this will help bring it out more.

A quick example render (click to enlarge):
-layer mode "screen"

- The raptor in the back is all blurry. And since it casts a shadow there should be light on its back
- The smaller raptor seems to be lit from under/behind, completely opposite to the general lighting direction
- The raptors seem to belong to different species. The big one would be chasing the other two...
- Not very easy to explain that green glow on the left. Aren't these plants supposed to be in the shadow?
- Just below there is that branch sticking out with a visible dark rim around it
- Strange shape in the waterfall: midway there is a left-to-right bounce, but it comes form nowhere: there is more water going out of the bounce that what falls into it from above.
- The murky blue things in the car are just murky pixels. My eyes beg for more detail...

Thanks for your analysis. Most of these errors I overlooked, mainly errors in shadowing.
The waterfall looks strange in this picture, but it looks strange in the real photo too. I realized it after I read your comment. Nature is sometimes curious Smile .
The murky blue pixels in the car are showing plants growing through the car, but they are not much visible.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate this example. It´s something what I didn´t know and what was missing in my images.
