Looking for push button tutorial for games and web

Looking for push button tutorial for games and web
Hello all
im beginner i need to create simple rectangle button that have 2 states
1 state is the default state
2 state that is shown when the button is pushed / pressed down
i didn't found any tutorial on the web that deal with creating the states
can you help me please to find one ?

I edited it down to this:

Then changed the text:

Check the image in Gimp and look at the layers and you will see how each layer changes for the "push button" in/out state.
It is the border difference that changes the appearance of the push in/out state and the text changes a few pixels to the right and down for the pushed in state.

I don't know what Gimp Project file is.
Just rightclick on the image and save to computer and then Open it into gimp.
Or the imgur links I posted there.. you can add into gimp
File>"Open Location"

You will see all the layers like this:

There is a built-in button maker script
File -> create -> buttons -> round button

This will make up to 3 variations for on/off

A bit of tweaking will get rid of the text if it is not needed. (make a dot space space space etc dot, then clone out the dots in the iamges).
