The idiot above is one of these people from the last century that thinks young people do not need to know Digital Technology. Who is Gimp for except for the young and the poor. Check out the same thread on General. I use Adobes Master Suite. Will he furnish that to every young person in the 4th grade.

I apologize. I sent the above reply before I checked out your Web Site. I live in Silicon
Valley California. The kids, 4th thru 12th grade, I work with read Tech Crunch and the technoogy section of the Mercury News every day. Silicon Valley Newspaper. Also Advanced Photoshop, some of your guys in co,uk and DeviantArt. I would be glad to have my young people look at any Photoshop work you have on either site. I really did look at your site, I could have some of my middle school kids, 7th and 8th grade design better site for you.

I am 14, so I am now in year 10 in high school.

And the original post did not say much, and it was confusing.

And do not call me and idiot. just because you are older doesn't make you any better at anything Smile

And BTW - I learned everything myself, not through some stuck up idiot who thinks they ave an ounce of intelligence

RE: Looking for gimp users Boise, Meridian, Caldwell, Id. Ontario, Or.
Lets start all over again. I do sincerely apologize. I thought you were old. I have no time for adults that think the public schools are good enough for young people. US schools teach the same things they did 100 years ago. They are stealing the future from the ones they teach. Now take this the right way. I feel you have been cheated, you should not have to learn on you own. Gimp is a free program, no cost to the schools. It should be taught in the lower class, 4th or 5th.
3d should start in the 6th or 7th, Daz studio is free. Like most US schools I feel you were robbed. Photoshop, Illlustrator and Flash should be taught in high school. That gives the youth a head start in life if they are going into any multimedia area. Again I apologize, I like it you are only in the 10th grade and I understand your replay. We could use a person like you here for what we are doing. You grow if you talk other young people into doing what ou are doing. Digital Tech is the future. We say the students will have to teach the teachers.

Thanks for the apology.

I use GIMP in my freetime, and PS at school ( although i have gimp portable on my usb, so i use that sometimes, and export to .psd)
Is there any way I can take this course online?

Thanks

and I also apologise for my behavior earlier on.
