Layers cut out img. ontop of layers, cut out img.
I am trying to make a collage. Like take multiple photos and cut out the img. I want then place them on the board over lapping each other. But what is get after I cut out the img. and drag one on top of another is the rectangle covering up the original img. being layered on top of.

After 5 hrs. of watching You Tube video's. and am admittedly stuck.

Any help would be great.

Ok, cheated, I did this in 30 seconds with an old java app but if that is the sort of thing you want we can take it from there.

Close, but nope. I am so thankful of your help though.

I am looking to take drawings I made, cut out the tool I drew. Like, now I have a staple gun and maybe a pencil (cut out). I take the two pieces of paper and over lap the them I see both tools but only where they overlap I see the tool that is on top and nothing is covered up. I would like to be able to do this with multiple tools.

Ok while you were doing that image I was making these so reading your first post again.

Is this something like your attempts? One pasted in layer gets cut off / hidden

but you want something like this

If it is then a lot is going to depend on your drawings and getting them to suitable transparency.

Any chance of you posting a couple of your drawings, individually so we can see how they can be 'tweaked' other wise I will use those (google images) examples which might not be so relevant

Ok. Thanks.
I used these jpg. files and trimmed around the tool. Then try to do what you did so easily. Your just showing off.

Did this using the line drawings, basically you need to know about removing backgrounds, it can be easy, can be difficult. This might get you started, another video. Not 5 hours just 6 minutes.

I am on the other side of the Atlantic from you and packing in for the day.
You will have questions, just post them up, someone will be around to answer.
