Larger Brush
I am coming new to Gimp 2.6 from PS CS2. I mainly do photo enhancement. Especially for dodge and burn, it is sometimes useful to have a large brush that covers for example a quarter of a 1366x768px image. In PS I could enter the brush size in px. In Gimp I could only find scale. Even if I crank that up to the maximum of 10.00, the brush is still tiny. Grateful for any suggestions!

RE: Larger Brush
You can make your own larger brush

Click on the brush editor at the bottom of the brushes dialogue, choose a square shape and set to 100, set hardness to 1. This will scale up to 2000x2000 square if required.

RE: Larger Brush
OK, thank for the quick response. I'll give that a try. I get a feeling GIMP can do anything I need, but quite a few things are done in a very different way from PS. Not really better or worse, but different. I'll have a bit of a steep learning curve, since I have used PS CS2 for many years.
