Issues (mostly with tablet) and gimp .-.
I was recommended to try posting my issue here ^^;
Hope that someone can help.
It's been a little over a year since I got my tablet (using wacom bamboo)
Over the past several months I have been having issues using it with gimp, which have progressively become more annoying

Problems include:
-Unable to move layers, even with arrow button (even if I try to do it with my mouse)
-Whenever I pick new colors, I have to tap out of the box before being able to press enter (also have similar issues with zoom/setting layer mode)
-Brush doesn't really follow my strokes - sometimes it just stays in the spot where I lifted my hand, or I have trouble in general continuing a stroke pattern
-& a more recent problem, out of the blue colors will randomly revert back to default black and white while I am trying to paint with different colors.

Was suggested to try uninstall/remove all the files and reinstall but I don't think it actually solved anything since I am still having problems with the brush and layers ~.~

See here.

Come back if this is not enough.

On the ther hand, if Gimp works properly with the mouse, this looks like a flaky tablet. Hardware wears out, not software.
