Issue with layer movement when recording tutorial in Camtasia

This is not a tutorial, however, I've posted it here in the hopes of finding someone doing tutorials in Camtasia.
I have talked to support at Techsmith, the creators of Camtasia, and they are unable to help other than marking the issue as a bug for correction in a future release.
I wonder if anyone on the forum has run into the issue of being unable to move layers in the stack using the mouse or any other pointing device while in record mode. The up and down arrows work okay, but, not the click and drag method.

There are very detailed tutorials on Techsmith ...the developers of Camtasia. It is a fairly straight forward editing suite with recording abilities. I find it particularly useful for doing tutorials because of the high resolution recording of online things. It costs more than some other suites, however, there is a 30 day free trial available to determine if it meets your needs.
That's the end of my commercial... still hoping to find someone having issues such as mine.
