Increasing JPG quality
I'm quite new to Gimp, but I understand there's a plugin that can increase the quality of a low resolution JPG, smoothing out the pixel effect. Can someone tell me which one it is, if it exists?

RE: Increasing JPG quality
Thanks very much. I was using that, but wasn't using the right interpolation. Smile

RE: Increasing JPG quality
In addition, if after scaling your image, it becomes a little blurry, you can try to enhance clarity

Filters > Enhance > Unsharp mask
(more control over sharpness)
or
Filters > Enhance > Sharpen...

I did find a plugin or script a long time ago (might still be out there) that enlarge & automatically sharpen the photo(to a point)

If you want to get a little dirty, you can try these plugin/scripts, or just browse them.
